St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Northleach

Highlight • Religious Site

The parish church in Northleach is a stunning example of a 'wool church', built mainly in the 15th century when this town was the heart of the wool trade. If you're a fan of English Perpendicular style, this is a classic of the genre.

St Peter and St Paul Church, Northleach

Highlight • Historical Site

The first record of Northleach Church dates to the Domesday Survey of 1086. Much of the church you see today, however, dates to the 14th and 15th centuries; the result of substantial redevelopment due to wealth created by the Cotswold wool trade. The Gothic architecture is very stunning, as is the interior of the church and its stained glass windows.
