April 8, 2023,🇫🇷Canal de Colmar - Münster in Breisach Rundtour
If you have enough time, be sure to visit the old town. In Breisach on the market square there are a few cafés that invite you to take a break. The Minster in Breisach can be experienced via streets. The route back to Colmar covered many kilometers of federal highway. If you have time, you should go back the way …

Today we went on a bike tour to Colmar including a small city tour in the center with many half-timbered houses. Then we drove along the Canal de Colmar and made a detour to Germany to Breisach am Rhein. At the Canal de Colmar we had to shelter under a bridge for about 30 minutes because it suddenly rained.

Be sure to visit the Capuchin monastery in Breisach. Great view from up there. The way back leads several KM over the main road.

After the very busy Colmar with many great impressions, things became quiet on the canals that connect Colmar with the Rhine. After a short tour in small Breisach we went back.
A very nice tour.

After we turned towards the canal at the end of the town, we cycled for kilometres along the idyllic water. The 30 km to Breisach were so wonderful to manage. The way back from Neuf-Brisach led over asphalted field paths or back roads through the blazing sun. Actually it was good to cycle, but somehow exhausting at 40 degrees 🥵

A worth seeing round tour in the Vorder Alsace! 🌞😎👍🙋🏻‍♂️

First we visit Breisach; cycle up to the cathedral, the town hall and the open-air theater. Then we cycle through the city to the Europe Bridge; cross the Rhine and cycle on the French side to Neuf Brisach.
