Porta San Tommaso

Highlight • Monument

Porta San Tomaso is a gate that opens onto the sixteenth-century walls of Treviso. It is located in the north-eastern area of the centre, facing the current Pontebbana road heading north. It is certainly the most majestic of the three gates, entirely covered with decorative elements in Istrian stone that reflect the pattern of the classical triumphal arches. The whole is concluded by a peculiar dome in lead wood. The lion of San Marco that stands out in the center of the external front, although ancient, is not the original as it was placed here in 1857.

Municipality of Silea

Highlight • Structure

The Municipality of Silea is located at Via Roma 21, in the heart of the city center. The building is not only the administrative center of the municipality, but it represents an architectural landmark set in a well-kept urban context, a short distance from the banks of the Sile river and the nature trails that make the area famous.

The main offices for citizens are housed at the municipal seat, including the Registry Office, the Technical Office, and Social Services. If you need specific information on opening hours or building practices, the Municipality usually receives by appointment or with differentiated hours during the week, with morning openings from Monday to Friday and afternoon returns on certain specific days.
