Sérignan Footbridge

Highlight • Bridge

The passerelle is part of the well-developed network of cycle paths around Serignan. A little further there is also a bridge, but it is closed to cyclists. Understandable because it can get quite tight with oncoming traffic.

Village Square of Vendres

Highlight • Settlement

Pretty little town on the coast. A typical little square with nice cafes.

A detour to the port is worth it!

Beautiful viewpoint over the Aude at the entrance to the regional natural park. The landscapes are very diverse, between sea, dry scrubland and wetlands.

Section along the River Aude

Highlight (Segment) • Other

The road offers a nice view of the marina but is in very poor condition. There is also a lot of traffic which doesn't make it any easier.

First tour, started in our resort Portiragnes Plage. The route was mostly easy to ride, on a few sections the gravel bike would have been better.
Sun, clouds, brisk wind - there was a bit of everything.

Today there was a tour similar to last Sunday, but for two... and it was nice again👍.

Showing Translation

After three days of continuous rain, the weather here is getting better again and we were able to enjoy our first bike ride in the sun.

Showing Translation

After two days at the beach to settle in, we started early today – by our standards. The tour took us via Serignan, Fleury, and over the Massif de la Clappe to St. Pierre la Mer. There, we enjoyed a leisurely coffee or a Coke and headed back through the Etang de Vendres, stopping off at Valras Plage for a …
