Col du Pourtalet

Highlight • Mountain Pass

Long and steady! 27km of up from the french side upto the spanish border. Save some for the last 10km as it gets a little steeper the higher you climb. And keep an eye out for those cows, especially in the dark - the cowbells help!

The Gave de Brousset has incredible views, especially if you come on a clear day. If you hike it, you'll enjoy the Artouste river and dam as well as the forest and alpine terrain.

It is a road that you have to share with motorized vehicles, but that you will enjoy to the fullest.

The pretty little mountain village of Eaux-Bonnes is perched at an altitude of 715 meters. It owes its fame to its thermal springs which have contributed to its development since the 17th century. Nestled between Laruns and Gourette, the village invites you to take a pleasant break in a beautiful valley.
