Along the Alesso-Somplago road (municipalities of Cavazzo Carnico), after passing the highway underpass and immediately after the bridge over the Rio Cout, take the asphalt road on the left which shortly after ends and becomes a dirt road where you park. Then follow the dirt road that passes under the highway again. The entire route is not a CAI trail …

Lago di Cavazzo is now one of our favorite lakes. Today we explored it mainly for our other two activities, SAP and kayaking, and we will definitely be back soon. A swim in this refreshing water is a treat.
