Here is a suggestive view of Lake Caldonazzo, the largest lake belonging to Trentino, and Lake Levico, smaller and similar to a Scandinavian fjord.

Werk Verle | Forte Busa Verle is an Austro-Hungarian fort located at an altitude of 1506 meters in the Passo Vezzena – Malga Verle area. A bomb-proof fortified structure, it served to prevent a possible Italian advance from the Val d'Assa on the Vezzena, Cima le Mandrielle, Monte Erio. Nice ride but at the end of the breathing of the trees an exposed path begins not only for bikes but also for those who go on foot! I absolutely do not recommend the tour along that impervious stretch, especially in case of rain you are forced to push your bikes on the stairs

Truly spectacular tour. The descent is definitely for experts, challenging ladders

amazing tour
The pass is nice, but especially the trail down to Caldonazzo is great.
Attention: Be absolutely free from giddiness. Technically it's actually quite easy.
Again and again!

From the campsite in Caldonazzo to Pizzo di Vezzena. Luis Trenker was stationed here during the First World War.
High on the old Kaiserjägerstraße, then through the forest, then a nasty washed-out gravel trail (Tremalzzo, on the other hand, is sugar) up to the Pizzo di Vezzena.
Then a mega violent old Kaiserjäger trail back to Caldonazzo. Before that, however, …
