January 22, 2022,Kleiner Stadtspaziergang durch Aschaffenburg
The many historic places in Aschaffenburg and the great old town are highly recommended. Aschaffenburg is not called the Bavarian Nice on the Lower Main for nothing.

The trip to Aschaffenburg was really worth it.
The old town, the pedestrian zone and the castle park are worth a visit.
But we had no idea that there was another highlight ahead of us.......

We actually wanted to go on a trip with our friends Eddie and Packesel today, but due to illness, the two had to cancel at short notice 🤒, get well soon 💐 at this point 👋. So quickly look for a new destination 🤔💭, get in the car 🚙 and off we went to Aschaffenburg "Bavaria's treasure chest 🪙 at …

Unfortunately destroyed by fire in World War II, it was restored by 1964. In addition to the castle, a stroll through …

@Günther Thank you very much for the template and the suggestion to visit Aschaffenburg

A lovely 8km tour through Aschaffenburg offers a diverse program: culture/sights (Pompejanum/Johannisburg Palace), nature (Main riverbank/palace park - magnolia blossom), and restaurants/pubs/shopping (Treibgasse, Sandgasse, Herstallgasse, Roßmarkt, etc.).

We were probably a week too early (on March 22, 2025) to see the magnificent magnolia blossoms.
