On the small, reed-gushed pond stands a swing bench on one side of the shore and on the other bank a wooden deckchair - the perfect place to rest and enjoy nature.

Wow, yesterday I was really excited, Tanja back from vacation, nice weather and she drove us to Hahnenbachtal, on the dream loop with adventurous extras. I am blown away by this wonderful tour, with everything my heart desires. The large Schmidtburg ruins were a highlight, the small Hellkirch ruins then up on the mountain, with a great view, summit cross, …

Today we were adventurous in the Hahnenbachtal. The dream loop is always great and this time we were able to cross the stream using the great ox piano.
In keeping with the heat protection program🤣, there were also a few large, cool tunnels that had to be walked.
Manu made me laugh when she accidentally landed in the stream with …

The trigger for today's tour was yesterday's SWR weather presenter Kathrin Illig. She was in the Hahnenbach valley looking for wild garlic. 🌱🌱🌱. At the beginning of the tour gabs wet feet. At the ford the stepping stones were flooded. 1. Variant: take a different path. 2nd variant: shoes and stockings out and through the stream. Was flawless👍😁

Hahnenbachtal tour dream loop, today in cloudy weather, but partly with sun (at a temperature of about 20 degrees), it was nice weather.
It only went to a mine where unfortunately it was closed.
Then we went slowly in Hahnenbachtal where a beautiful. view and could enjoy nature!
Then we went up to the Schmidburg ruins and was surprised that …

I didn't write anything about it. We thought it was pretty good. I decided that day that I would walk the Soonwaldsteig soon. I booked 2 nights' accommodation, though.

Hi Komootler, the Hahnenbach Traumschleife was voted the most beautiful hiking trail in Germany in 2012. A really great hike with many highlights. Various pieces of information along the way report on the varied history of the region. At the end of the hike there is the Forellenhof with excellent food. All together is rightly a premium hike.

A very nice tour in the spirit of Golden October - so nice.
Many highlights in a relatively few kilometers, which meant that we dawdled a bit 😎.
It is very easy to understand why this hiking trail is rated so highly - we had a lot of fun and the absolute highlight is the Schmidtburg 😘
