Levada is not quite as well maintained. A head for heights required. Great view, beautiful flowers and birdsong. Cafe is quite nice to stop. Seating at the end of the route (reversal point)

After the exhausting journey (flight delay due to lack of staff, an hour's wait for the rental car at Funchal Airport) we had a fabulous, beautiful hike on the Levada Nova. Back at the holiday resort of Caniço de Beixo we had dinner with a wonderful view🤩 🥰
