Kačić Square (Trg Kačića Miošića)

On the central town square in Makarska is the monument to Father Andrija Kačić Miošić, a Franciscan and Croatian folk poet, which was erected in 1890 by the sculptor Ivan Rendić. The modern face of the square was completed at the beginning of the 18th century with the completion of St. Mark's Basilica.
