Tybee Pier & Pavilion is a must-see for any visitor to Tybee Island, Georgia. This historic landmark has been standing for over 130 years, and it offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Tybee Island Lighthouse, and the surrounding beaches.

The pier was originally built in 1891 by the Central of Georgia Railroad as a way to attract tourists to the island. It quickly became a popular destination for fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. In the early 1900s, the pier was also a popular venue for dances and other social events.

The pier was destroyed by fire in 1967, but it was rebuilt and reopened a few years later. Today, it is still a popular spot for fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. It is also a great place to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
