Nice stroll through Heesseltsche floodplains, unfortunately we could not do part of the route due to the high water over the narrow path. So we had to walk around a bit, but that wasn't a big deal! It was lovely weather for a walk.

Beautiful environment. Unfortunately we were not able to do the entire route through the floodplains due to the high water. But it is definitely worth going back again. Then bring binoculars for the many birds that live there.
