Hunebed D19 and D20

Highlight • Historical Site

Both dolmens D19 and D20 are part of the many dolmens that are spread over the province of Drenthe. They represent the prehistoric past of the Netherlands and bear witness to early human activity in this area.

Access to the dolmens is free and you can explore them on your own.

Flintenweg, Grolloo State Forest

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

From the west this is definitely still a flint road, but driving towards the east the boulders slowly but surely disappear more and more covered in sand, mud and moss, until it is nothing more than a forest path. Nice for MTB and gravel bikes, but not suitable for racing bikes.

Ieberen Cobbled Section

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Leberen is a cobbled section (AKA keienstrook) near the Ieberenplas, great on a gravel bike... but of course for the real experience you'll have to ride this one on your road racer ;-)
