December 29, 2024,📸 🥾 Talsperre Falkenstein - Rißfälle - Wildgehege 🦌 ( Sonnenspiele u. Kristalle ❄️ ) 🤪
📸 Today it was supposed to be a photo tour 🌁with a bit of winter mood ☃️❄️, and so we chose the Falkenstein dam, from there on to the Riß Falls, then to the game reserve 🦌and back to the car. 🚙
Overall a nice short tour, with a bit of winter feeling, in fantastic weather 🌞

It was supposed to be a winter landscape today.
Hmmm...🤔 Things are looking bad in Plauen. 🤷‍♀️
So! Off to Falkenstein and once again visited the dam, the Riß Falls and the wildlife enclosure. ☺️
It was a beautiful day and the bright sun did the rest. 🥰

There is a forest car park near the dam wall of the Falkenstein dam (3€ day ticket). From there it's always uphill, first along the dam, then along the white Göltzsch, until you finally get to the Riss Falls.

A nice hike. However, not all forest paths are easily passable. But there are alternative options. The crack cases are worth it. There is a paid parking lot at the Falkenstein reservoir.
