Made a little hike in front of the front door in wonderful sunshine. Shortly after the model airfield you have wonderful views, e.g. the Langenberg transmission masts (approx. 26 km as the crow flies) can be seen. The "Arkaden" in Westerholt are ideal for a break.
Incidentally, the highest natural elevation in Gelsenkirchen (approx. 94 m) is in the city …
