Ruurlo Castle is definitely worth getting off your bike for. This imposing historic structure originally dates from the fourteenth century, but its current appearance is largely due to later renovations in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The last major renovation took place in the nineteenth century. Inside you can have a snack and a drink in the adjacent restaurant Oranjerie Ruurlo.
