This tour between Uckermark and Mecklenburg was great fun. We took a dip in the enchanting Mellensee, just below the picturesque chapel. Several noble members of the extensive von Arnim family are buried there.
Carwitz is fairly quiet in the fall, but it's a tourist hotspot.
