Yesterday's sunny, golden Saturday was followed by an equally beautiful Sunday today. Perfect conditions for a morning walk through the Ilvericher Altrheinschleife. It's hard to believe that the Rhine took its curves here a long time ago.

The nature conservation landscape there is really beautiful and lonely with the typical crippled willows of the Lower Rhine.
