Lovely boating lake attracting ducks, swans..and seagulls..sometimes used for windsurf or kids kayak lessons, and of course (miniature electric) boating. There are also several playgrounds in the vicinity plus one of my favourite cafes in the area.

Built in 1805, this fortress-in-a-round defended the coast from Napoleon's warships. It was also used for defending Britain during the World Wars. Currently closed but undergoing a much needed update.
