Now a foot and cycle path, this trail stretches from Bovey Tracey to the Lustleigh road and continues on past Lustleigh towards Moretonhampstead. This stretch is lush for running at any time of year, especially spring and autumn as the beech leaves are incredible.

There are lots of trails off it too, so you can run different loops and routes.

Trendlebere Down Road in Dartmoor National Park

The most amazing stretch of tarmac across the moorland, heading downhill as you ride towards Bovey Tracey from Water or a long, steady climb in the opposite direction. Open and expansive with corking views and flowing corners, a real highlight of these parts no matter what kind of bike you're on!

Becka Brook River Crossing

Going from West to East, you initially get thrown into a steep, rocky & technical descent, cross over the little bridge, and continue to descend gently down a less rocky path but lots of big puddles/holes! You then begin the climb out of the woods, thankfully not as steep or as technical as the descent you came down at the beginning. 😁

Cafe 3 Sixty

Highlight • Cafe

Having spent the best part of the last 100 years as a garage and workshop, the owners of Cafe 3 Sixty have transformed the building into a wonderful spot for hungry cyclists and passersby yet retained much of its history in the renovation.

An independent cafe, you’ll find a heavy bike theme here and you can even park your two-wheeled steed inside. Outside seating allows for dogs although they’re not permitted indoors due to the open kitchen.
