Teufelstein (Niederlausitzer Landrücken)

The traces on the Teufelstein:

It is said that all the villagers of Wildau-Wentdorf lived very happily with one another and regularly visited the church. This really bothered the devil.
Angry with the hustle and bustle of the village, he looked for the largest stone in the area. With difficulty he dragged him up the Hellberge. From there he had a good overview of the village. The devil's anticipatory laugh echoed into every house - it terrified the whole village.
The devil looked again at his destination, the village church, and made a long swing. With a scream of strength, he pushed the stone as far as he could, but did not fly to the church. There the stone is now, far away from the village, in the remote forest.
The villagers' laughter filled the devil with pain. He got so angry that he took his grandma and drove her over the Devil's Stone in a wheelbarrow and then sank into the earth.
You can still see the traces of the wheel of the wooden wheelbarrow on the stone. You can also see the footprints of the devil, who was equipped with a human foot and horse hooves.

The Hellberge are on the other side of the path.
