Decades ago the Fuhse still fulfilled an important task. Their water powered numerous mills. One of them was near Eixe: the Berger Mühle. For a long time she was the most productive one around. The Gödecke mill is still there today, but it has been converted into a residential building. It is a two-story half-timbered building, probably built in the second half of the 18th century, with plastered compartments under the half-hipped roof.
