Today we wanted to do our favorite hike from Eys again. The shorter route, though. The mud was ankle-deep on one stretch of the trail. So we took the long route. It was great, as always, especially with this weather. A rest on our bench with a "view of Tuscany" was a nice reward.

Today one of my favorite hikes from Gulpen. I go over the Dolsberg to Wijlre. Then I cross the Geul at the Molen van Otten and continue over the Elkenrade plateau with its wide panorama over the Geul valley. Through the Eyserbos and along the Eyserbach (with tunnel) I return to Gulpen.
