Finally the time had come - after I had run out of time to complete the hiking trail after the company outing, my father and I went on a wonderful father-daughter hike around Castell. The weather was perfect, so we took our time and were able to enjoy many breathtaking views.

On Father's Day, the most beautiful tour in the Franconian wine region through all of Castell's vineyards. Great weather, a real gem in and around Castell. Final stop in the vineyard with a first-class view of the vineyards on Schwanberg. The wine and the food were also great. Highly recommended 👍

For the most part, follow the C5 marking around Castell. In places the signs are a bit sparse.

From the parking lot you first follow the Steigerwald Panorama Weg to the castle. From the judicial linden tree you can then follow C5. I made a little detour to the lovely wine village.
