The closer we get to Haines Junction, the better the weather gets. In the meantime we have blue skies with a few clouds; However, a strong wind is blowing, which occurs again and again in strong gusts.
Access to the Auriol Trail is just south of town on the Haines Highway.
The hike turns out not to be a 'walk …
