Walked around the Spitzingsee today in the rain ☔️ and visited fat Berta.

Exactly the right little tour for a hot summer day (32 degrees) with a limited time frame (thunderstorm announced in the afternoon). You can safely overlook the initially paved path, it gets better and more varied. We recommend the round and stop at the Blecksteinhaus and the circumnavigation of the Spitzingsee with beautiful views of the surrounding well-known mountains, whose …

A wonderful conclusion to our all-round successful winter holiday at Schliersee and Spitzingsee ❄️⛷🥰🏔☃️

After 4 days of skiing and a day of rest, we did our traditional Spitzingsee winter tour today with Cerstin and Markus ❄️🥾🎒☃️

Of course we also went to the "Alte Wurzhütte" for a Kaiserschmarrn 😉😋

See you here in summer 😊

Today we take a leisurely walk around the beautiful Spitzingsee and continue along a section of the Bockerlbahnweg (Bockerlbahn Trail) to the Albert Link German Alpine Club (DAV) hut, where we enjoy a delicious snack.
The railway trail was built over 100 years ago to transport broken wood down into the valley after a tornado had ravaged the area.

It was simply beautiful and the weather better than predicted... 🥰😎
At Spitzingsee and in the village of Spitzingsee and at the Albert-Link-Hütte there were some people, on the forest paths I was partly alone.
At the Albert-Link-Hütte there is delicious food in large portions at reasonable prices. I ordered a small portion of Kaiserschmarrn and that was absolutely enough …

🅿️
Several paid parking spaces at Spitzingsee. The parking lot at the Taubensteinbahn for EUR 5.00/day is OK. The parking spaces at the Stümpflingbahn are outrageously expensive at up to EUR 15.00/day for non-skiers. There are also a few free parking spaces, for example at the Spitzingsattel or right at the end of Spitzing near the church.
