Hard hike. Very good fitness required. Mostly accessible paths. Sure-footedness required. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

Beautiful tour in serpentines on the sunny south side of the mountain on narrow paths, very varied and on the summit perfect panoramic view of the "blue land".

Well, they say there is no bridge.

There is a footbridge about 70 meters away and you can walk across it with dry feet.

The Osterfeuerkopf is a popular, small viewing peak near Eschenlohe. and it offers a beautiful view of the Loisachtal all the way to the Zugspitze.
When you cross the summit it becomes more exciting and lonelier, because the route to Hirschberg is not marked and rarely used. In constant ups and downs you go along the ridge on a small …

ATTENTION! First of all: from about km 4.5 onwards, the trail was no longer visible! All trails from Osterfeuerköpfl onwards are apparently rarely or not at all used. They were often blocked by trees that had to be climbed over or crawled under, even on sloping terrain! PLEASE NOTE! After Ölrain, the trails were clearly visible again!

Parked at the paid parking lot in Eschenlohe for €5 and then directly along a forest path up to the first summit with a cross, then continued on a long ridge to Ölrein, where you climbed steeply to the Hirschberg, but you could also skip it and descend straight away. .. first again on a forest path which soon turns …

Would be a good toboggan run in winter 🛷 The climb over the gravelled mountain road is nice and wide and the gradient could be ideal for the sleigh ride. ❄️🏔️

just expanding my hiking horizons 😉 The Osterfeuerspitze summit was set up as a group tour on a portal. Well, if we're going to "travel" that far, then we'll do a bit more than to the first summit. @Flo @I.Maria happened to have already walked ahead - but we're not suited to scrambling. After the Osterfeuerspitze it's only T2 - …
