The Katzenbachtal is a particularly beautiful section of the Früchtetrauf premium trail "Seven Valleys Round". The stream follows the path and is so shallow in several places that you can easily get in and splash around in the water.

Very nice view of the hamlet castle, so that the experienced hiker knows and fears what is still to come. :-)

From Weiler, take the steep meadow path up. Now in winter, the Rappenberg is a great toboggan run for smaller kids. The view is fantastic. The best view of Dettingen is from the Martini hiking trail.

September 21, 2024,Weiler bei Rottenburg - Sieben Täler Höhle🔦🦇 - Wolfsschlucht - Römerquelle🧃🍾 - Kurpark Bad Niedernau ♒🦆 - Weiler Burg🏰🔭📷😋
Since we both had a free weekend, we drove to Weiler near Rottenburg in the Tübingen district. My main goal was Weiler Castle. Komoot showed us numerous tours and we decided on the wonderful tour.
Our starting point was the Hasenkreuz hiking car park. From there we went to the clubhouse of the bird and nature conservation association. From there …

Very nice hike in Rammert. Unfortunately the keep of the Weilerburg was closed.
The Wolfsschlucht is great, you just have to be very careful in muddy weather!

Today, with a dear friend, we went to Bad Niedernau not far from us.
It was 16 degrees, windy, and uninviting, but that improved with each hour, and we were able to enjoy the glorious sunshine 😎👍🏻
As always, it's worth it. The Wolfschlucht Gorge alone—the 7 Valleys Loop is actually about 7 km—but we wanted to go to Weilerburg …

And again: Thanks to the work of my own legs, I managed to climb up to Weilerburg today via the normal route. After 1 bike ride and 2 high fives with the castle flag on the top of the tower, I descended over fine gravel gullies on the southwest flank. The paths are unsecured and free of snow. Weilerburg is …

A short hike with my colleagues before the barbecue evening. This tour ( komoot.de/tour/1215853833 ) by @JuSieKu served as a template for this. Many thanks for that!

We parked this afternoon on Badstrasse in Bad Niedernau. From here we went to the Kurpark, the Schützenhaus and the Römerquelle past the lower entrance to the Wolfsschlucht. It goes steeply over stairs, through the small, very beautiful, rocky gorge up to an old stone bridge. Via a partly steep forest path back down into the beautiful Katzenbachtal. Past the …
