Today we wanted to hike the Black Forest Railway Adventure Trail. We started at Triberg train station in sunshine. After the largest cuckoo clock, it was a steep climb and the sky clouded over. Once at the top, there are various viewing platforms overlooking the Black Forest Railway and the mountains of the Black Forest. The adventure trail actually goes …

Great tour to warm up through an autumnal landscape on the first day of your vacation. It doesn't matter what the weather is, it's still beautiful, it's the Black Forest after all 😀.

At the Triberg waterfalls I discovered this small loop and then ran it spontaneously. Sounded more promising than it turned out to be, but there were great sections and viewpoints. So as a walk I would recommend it if you are in the area anyway.

The giant cuckoo clock was also a nice spot along the trail.
In terms of the trail layout, the most beautiful part was almost the climb on the winding path through the blueberry forest – a dreamy …

Change of plan...Black Forest Railway Adventure …

Before I forget. The paths are icy in places in winter and so dangerous. Please do not try this unless you have the appropriate footwear and alpine experience. That could look bad.

Super nice tour that I can only recommend. Great paths, narrow paths and always very nice vantage points on the Black Forest Railway and in the distance. Hardly any wide paths and even less asphalt
