Kirkcaldy Esplanade

Highlight • Beach

It's a nice chilled out flat ride along the esplanade at Kirkcaldy. There are areas of the esplanade where small stones and sand have been washed onto the concrete ride line. If you do not want sand going onto the bike then there is an adjacent road to ride on

Williamsons Quay

Highlight • Structure

This is quite a nice area to ride through, seems a decent place to live. Enclosed within two piers which seem to keep the water calm and flat

Ravenscraig Beach

Highlight • Beach

The beach here north of Kirkcaldy is a nice place to walk or stop on a longer trip. The remains of Ravenscraig Castle is inland from here and the nature reserve of the same name is to the north.

Dysart Harbour

Highlight • Structure

Dysart Harbour is very picturesque and bustling with life. The harbour was built in 1450 but became a prominent place for exporting salt and coal in the 16th and 17th centuries. Any fans of TV show Outlander might recognise the harbour as it was used as a filming location. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Drystart, too.
