Otto Kandler House

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The house was built in 1905 by the Alpine Society "D'Ennsecker" and named after its chairman Otto Kandler. The society has since disbanded, and since 1955 the self-catering hut has been owned by the St. Pölten Alpine Club. The house is lovingly looked after by its officials (beginning of May to the end of October, only on weekends) and offers 35 beds. It is worth stopping by in summer because of the delicacies on offer here and the true hiking paradise all around.
