Highlight • Settlement

I think Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler are very different, but both places have their own charm and each has its own idea of a beautiful place.

Unfortunately, the cycle path through the Ahr Valley is not yet finished.
There is still a lot to do in Ahrweiler, too.

Unfortunately, the route is not finished but only diverted and partly very poorly signposted

The starting point was a free, spacious parking lot.👍 Due to the ongoing reconstruction work following the 2021 flood disaster, there is an alternative route. Unfortunately, we got lost a few times due to construction work and closures...😆🤭 But you can do better...😉 Nevertheless, the route is beautiful, especially when it runs along the Ahr River or when you can …

....it was only a few kilometers today, but what we saw in the Ahr valley was enough for us. According to residents, there are even worse places, but we avoided that (the water must have been up to 25 m high there)...There is a lot of new things but there is still a lot to do.....the pictures speak for themselves...🙏💪💪

Impressive tour. The development of the Ahr valley is progressing. The route from Bad Neuenahr to Sinzig is easy to cycle, although the cycle path was relocated by the flood. There is a lot to see and the vineyards are definitely worth seeing. From there you can enjoy a very beautiful view.

Very nice tour but also very touching..So much was destroyed by the flood in 2021 but now the reconstruction is well underway but it is frightening what power the water can have...Despite everything, a very beautiful area..The cycle paths in Bad Neuenahr/Ahrweiler have been very visibly diverted and many emergency bridges have been built..The city center is worth seeing...The ride …

Hello ....
🙋‍♀️
Very nice and varied bike tour from Ahrweiler to Remagen - Ahrweiler.

With plenty of sunshine ☀ we cycled comfortably along the Ahr. Past a pretty little farm with lots of small animals 🦆🐐 🐦. Relaxation and fun for young and old.

Small hurdles along the way, however, had to be overcome 😁.

Due to the flood disaster in 2021, there is now a replacement route for the regular Ahr Valley cycle path. Since we have often been to the Ahr Valley, even before the flood, and love it, we went on a bike tour from Sinzig to Rech today. Many of the affected houses have already been renovated, but unfortunately some have …
