Boscastle Village

Highlight • Viewpoint

Boscastle is a beautiful village and 100 years ago was the only harbour along a 40 mile stretch of the Cornish coast. It was an incredible busy port as until the late 19th Century, there was no railway into Cornwall so Boscastle was the main commercial and transport hub in the area.

The shape of the valley which runs down to the sea gives Boscastle its unique and stunning charm and is very popular with visitors.

Aside from the usual pubs and cafes, there is a also a Museum of Witchcraft and Magic which provides a history of British magical practice.
