The Rauenstein is always a beautiful hiking destination in Saxon Switzerland, and it can easily be integrated into longer or shorter tours.

Although the weather looks like it's going to be nice today, it was very cool and windy, but the view from the Rauenstein was still beautiful.

Perfect weather with a brisk wind at times. Ideal for a short walk up the local mountain in Weißig. The Rauenstein offers beautiful views all around to the Lilienstein and also to the Bastei with its new floating viewing platform. These days, of course, the restaurant up there is also open.

Today we had to do some round crawlers before the temperatures dropped even further and the batteries were affected.

Snow and slush used to be a different challenge, but quite exciting. And the lightly powdered Saxon Switzerland was simply beautiful to look at.

The only damage was my cuddled winch, but that's easy to fix. But it works 😙.
