A beautiful cold-water lake. The water is crystal clear, but you're not allowed to enter the lake. Stunning views in all directions. Benches around the lake invite you to take a short break.

Rosshütte Mountain Station

Highlight • Mountain Hut

A break is worthwhile here: there is a breathtaking view over the Tyrolean mountains. On one side are the five towns of the Olympic region, nestled between the Wetterstein Mountains, Karwendel and Hoher Munde. On a clear day you can see as far as the Zugspitze and far beyond the Inn Valley.

Seefeld Pass

Highlight • Summit

The hike to the Seefelder Spitze is a truly wonderful experience. Once you arrive, you'll enjoy a magnificent view. The trail can be covered on foot or, for part of it, by cable car. The descent is very steep in places, so you'll need a head for heights.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we had to turn back shortly before the summit and flee to the Rosshütte. There were thunderstorms, with massive rain and hail. But made it in time⛈⚡
