Saint-Pierre Church of Guérigny

This church was dedicated to Saint Peter (Peter). Simon, nicknamed Peter (rock), was a fisherman on the Sea of Genesareth when he – together with his brother Andrew – was called by Jesus Christ to be the "fisher of men".
