The complex is reached by a path that winds through the vineyards and runs along the southern wall. The wide slope that opens up to the visitor is a succession of terraces supported by stone walls, softened by rows of vines and slender cypress trees. Avio is a place of unexpected contrasts, ideal even for the little ones who, through the involvement of play paths, can have fun learning about the stories and characters that have animated it over the centuries.
