While Ueckermünde may not be as prominent as the more well-known Baltic Sea resorts and is "only" located on the Oder Lagoon, it exudes a maritime flair and certainly has nothing to hide as a seaside resort and port city. I enjoyed my walk around the lighthouse and the Uecker estuary, as well as strolling through the pretty old town.
