July 25, 2021,Fanes Senes MTB Tour: beautiful, smart, invincible
Don't try this in reverse. Also I can't imagine anyone riding the entire route without walking. Maybe with a ebike, but then you probably get into trouble with the distance. I'm no expert. Steep ascents.
Apart from the fact that the Kiox / the mobile phone didn't record properly again (and the accompanying Komoot recording didn't work either), an absolutely fantastic mountain tour with insane natural panoramas and many meters of altitude, which definitely also make intermediate charging stops necessary (at least with me).

Moderately difficult technically (no trails, but steep, coarse gravel descents) conditionally tough tour in one of the most impressive landscapes that I have come across in my biker life.
The ramps, especially up to the Senneshütte, are sometimes borderline steep, with 32/50 just manageable if you have steam in your legs.
There are various branching options on hiking trails that …

(Altitude meters are not quite correct, because the GPS seemed to be missing in between …

A beautiful ride with continuous ups and downs, some challenging due to the positive and negative slopes. The surface is mostly good, always on a forest road.

Today we really let it rip in the best bike weather...in the Fanes Nature Park. First we went from 1220m up the first 300m in the nature park to the Pederü hut. Then came the first steep ascent up to the Fanes Hütte.. And before half past ten.. So quickly ordered a cappuccino. Then all the way up to 2180 …
