Świnoujście Promenade

Swinemünde has a beautiful and quite long promenade lined with many buildings in the style of seaside resort architecture. This promenade stretches (across the border) via Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf to Bansin. It is approximately 12 kilometers long.

It is also known as "the longest promenade in Europe."

Compared to Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, Swinemünde has some unique features.

Firstly, the numerous kiosks selling food, drinks, and souvenirs are striking. Secondly, there is a small forest between the promenade and the beach. The sand that is washed away by the sea from other parts of the island is deposited in Swinemünde.
