Thought we would try this in the hope that the route might have dried out a bit after the weekend. Not so. The section from the Thornby Road to the back road to Honey hill was tough. The Motorcycle track was a quagmire and we had to get off and push, likewise with the field just after which had been …

Beautiful day for the ride, sunny but a bitingly cold wind. Managed to get some better photos from Honey Hill this time.

Had another go at this one , weather looked iffy. However, great ride as usual. This time we tried the section that skirts the reservoir at the western end of Carvell's Lane. Normally it is boggy as hell but this time there was only a short section that was still muddy, which can be bypassed. The section looks well used …

A shortish ride this one but with about a 900ft climb its a good workout. Great views from the top of Honey Hill and a good spot for lunch. The photos were taken at different times, today was windless, very hot and hazy so didn't bother this time.
