The Manoir de Briançon in Criel-sur-Mer is a 16th century manor house that belonged to Anne Marie Louise d'Orléans, cousin of Louis XIV, who made it a hospice and an orphanage for the children of sailors1. You can admire the architecture of the mansion, now the town hall, and see the sculpture of a little girl named Lilou, who symbolizes the orphans who were housed there.
