Today's bike tour takes me through the Kerkerbach Valley, where several hidden mountain galleries are located, to the Lahn River with its magnificent tunnels and bridges. In Limburg, the cathedral simply towers above everything. I continue to Hadamar, crossing the 450-year-old Nepomuk Bridge to Ellar Castle and the Jewish cemetery.

From Limburg you can not only cycle along the Lahn. Along the former railway line you get gently in the Kerkerbachtal, always a bit higher in the beautiful Westerwald. Via Hadamar and along the Eibbach it goes back to the Lahn and to Limburg.

The rain and wind were certainly very tiring, but there were also good days like today at the end.
