Some of the route is on the country road, as there are no pedestrian paths. It is therefore advisable, especially in the darker winter months, to ensure that there is sufficient lighting so that vehicles can see you!

However, you can get through the Kienbergwand tunnel without any problems, as there is a separate tunnel for cyclists and pedestrians.
