The chapel is located northwest of the village on the Sint Wilbertsweg, not far from the junction with the Alde Pasterie road. The Schutroei shooting range is located near the chapel. The Chapel of Our Lady is located on the east side of the village, about 350 meters further northeast is the Chapel of St. Anne, and almost two kilometers further west in the forest is the Chapel of St. Willibrordus.

The chapel is dedicated to Mary, more specifically to Our Lady of Longing and Desire.

This beautiful loop through Landgoed Geijsteren is highly recommended. We started with a small tour of the Geijsteren Castle. The ruins are open until 5 p.m. But the way around it is also beautiful.
