We particularly enjoyed this tour, perhaps because it was simply surprising. Everywhere the leaves shine in a young, transparent green. The rooty forest paths meander uphill and downhill in serpentines. There are pretty cairns everywhere, sun and shade alternate and the views of rocks, mountains and villages are simply fantastic. The weather - sunny but slightly cool - was perfect. …
