You drive about four to five kilometers along this imposing mountain range. And you can always see the deep-lying Walensee. Not to beat.

Meadow trail from Rietälpli to Alp Castilu

Bumpy but beautiful section of the route

It's hard to stop here. The bike rolls downhill so nicely. But it's worth it to get in the brakes at Alp Gastilun. The trees are felled, the stumps are still standing, the view is not restricted by anything.

Kurhaus Sennis

The Sennis spa is located in the middle of beautiful nature. A cute little lake is right next door.
The food is also delicious 🤤

From km 31.5 it goes down a stream bed quite rough. Not rideable everywhere. Approx. 1.2 km. Otherwise good tour 👍✌🏻💪🏼🤣

Again with Walti on the Biobike. A tour that can hardly be surpassed in terms of prospects. On the plateau still with brisk wind. From Sännis with some interesting trails down to the Hagerbach test gallery.

==========

Round trip Palfries, SG at temp. around 32C. Beautiful but hard steady "infinite" seeming 13 km ascent. Enjoyed an exceptionally large portion of barley soup in the Palfries mountain inn.
Wonderful descent over marked meadows. In the lower part steep and rocky single trails. Not easy to drive. To avoid this, one could stay on the mountain …

Time is not correct when imported via Garmin! Applies to all tours, so speed is also wrong.

Today, in exceptional weather conditions, I decided to finish a tour that I started 3 years ago with my brother. At that time, we were forced to turn back because there was still snow on the road to Palfries.

This was not the case today. Today, the car traffic up to the Alp was more than annoying.

With this summery weather, I took advantage of the bridge day to go on a bike ride up to Palfries. I took a lot more breaks than usual, especially because of the breathtaking mountain views and because I was completely alone. What a bike day we had today, and it was a lot of fun again 😊.

Round tour with a spectacular transition over the wild and pristine Palfries plateau. The panorama is shaped by the fjord-like Walensee and the rugged mountain peaks in the Speer-Churfirsten-Alvier area (natural monument of national importance).
I did the route when I brought Flo to school. I also wanted to climb the Alvier, but unfortunately I didn't succeed.
