Great road that invites you to speed evenly. Exactly, good asphalt, little traffic depending on the time and very clear. Beautifully landscaped. After Buzet to Roc it goes slightly uphill. Despite the flat route of the 44, there are a few opportunities to collect a few meters in altitude.
Again and again you can leave the 44, for example at the junction to Motovun or the opposite "Livade Climb". Leaving the roundabout in the direction of Zudetici-Vizinada, it goes up again. If you stay on the 44, it meanders gently and in two lanes at about 6% up the mountain and offers the option of driving via Brtonigla to Buje via the turnoff to Nova Vas.
