Beautiful but strenuous walk. In the tunnel the water was too high and so the shoes off and barefoot through the water. Not always good trails, especially when descending, but don't let this put you off.

We are in a wonderful spot right on the "Lac du Quinson," formed by the Verdon River.
There's a large, free parking lot right by the water, which is even free in the off-season. ♥️ There are several campers here. You can also rent electric boats and canoes here, and you can hike in the Verdon Gorge from here.
